FNB helping gangsters and ******.
This morning I received and notification of a bounced debit order, reference name Pmt Honfee. After checking reviews this is a common problem with FNB, WHY DO YOU NOT BLOCK THESE PEOPLE? WHY does FNB decide to put through debits without MY authorization? I did not buy or request anything from Pmt Honfee, now that debit order bounced and I have to pay a R100 fee because a debit order I know nothing about has bounced because of FNB's incompetence? I demand someone contact me and get this mess sorted out or God as my witness I will close my account, I had enough of the poor service from FNB! And for any other FNB clients with the same problem, mark my words, FNB will not have the guts to reply to this review, they will just copy paste their normal "we are sorry for the inconvenience blah blah blah" default reply. I DEMAND THIS GETS RESOLVED, clearly you don't give a damn about your customers. There are plenty of other banks who would be happy for my business.
I checked my balance, made a purchase and in between the time of checking balance and buying milk and bread, FNB decided to deduct the monthly banking fee, because you know everyone has lots of cash come end of the month. This caused my account to go into a minus which I must now pay R25 for. The gentleman who assisted me from FNB (regrettably i could not catch his name because the line was very soft) was very helpful and explained the situation to me and assisted by moving the date the banking costs are charged to a date when I would actually have funds in my account. Honestly people, you cant go around charging banking fees anywhere from the 20th to 25th of every month, most people only get paid around the 25th IF THEY ARE LUCKY! At least give the customer the option to set the date for that transaction on their internet profile. Now in the middle of an epidemic and with everyone either unemployed or taking massive pay cuts you still demand your pound of flesh on the 24th of the month?
Come on, practice some humanity ffs.
