FNB "helped" me move everything over to them for ebucks rewards, and then changed the rules and messed everyone over

07 Jun 2021, 20:28 FNB makes deals to switch you over, and then sleeves you over once you do. After a month of restricting all my finances and moving over from other providers and consolidating everything with FNB, after restricting my saving and investments all with FNB; and then waiting for there 1 month waiting period before I get to qualify for the rewards of all of this effort, just like me, many other FNB clients got f*cked over when FNB decided to change the entire way they reward their clients.

Irritated and annoyed doesn't begin to explain how messed around I feel with FNB. A client for years, but lately their efforts are chasing clients away

I was told to restructure my savings accounts, move over my life insurance, move over my building insurance policies and open up a fixed deposit with some of my cash. All because the ebucks rewards they told me I'd get would be worthwhile. That was true, until they changed the rules of the game.

Only to now get a notice that FNB changed the way they reward clients as of July 01st, so that 2 months of effort to move everything accross, all went down the drain for me, but they alone stand to benefit.

Now I will get rewarded *up to R150 worth of ebucks, when last month all these changes would have gotten me R1700 worth of ebucks (yes, that's not a typo. From over a thousand Rand, to just over one hundred rand now). Waste of time bank.
