FNB HELD MY R1.2MILLION RANSOM.

My wife transferred R1.2million rand from her FNB account into my FNB account at 11am in order for me to do a forex transfer. The funds was out of her account immediately but did not reflect in mine. After countless calls to the call centre we were told the money is in transit.Transit to where? How laughable.Usually FNB to FNB payments are immediate but because it was a big amount it must still be processed. It is a business account where I do business transactions. Off course it will be big amounts. I can understand if it was my personal account and out of character for such a big transfer to be made.My wife transacts on her account every day making big payments. So eventually after speaking to countless robots who said nothing can be done I asked to speak to a Manager- I got a Teamleader instead by the name of Gugu who escalated it to the \relevant"dept. Cant they just say where they escalating to. I hate this relevant dept nonsense..Anyway an hour later my wife received a call from FNB ***** to confirm the R1.2mil payment and I was credited.By then it was 16:10 and the forex guys advised it was too late to get a rate. The rate went up and I had to pay over R10k extra. worse bank"""
