FNB hasn't helped at all
I made a PayShap payment from my Discovery account on 12 November 2025 at 17:31: Amount: R3 500 Recipient ShapID / cell: +***1 Intended recipient: Thobile Khumalo "FNB account" Displayed FICA name: Mr M***K***SI H M***I Trace ID: DSCBNK***
The intended recipient has not received the funds, and the FICA name suggests the PayShap ID may belong to another person

03 Dec 2025, 10:58I received an email yesterday telling me how this complaint has been closed because I need to liaise with the sending bank. Fnb only has the information of their receiving client which I'm confused as to how is it that the intended recipient has been using her cellphone number for over 5years and has been receiving FNB bank notifications on it, yet FNB allowed someone else without even verification to use it to receive her Paysharp payments into their account
