FNB has pushed me too far

<p>FNB should change their slogan from "how can we help you" to "how can we p*ss you off and lose you as a customer"</p> <p>They asked me to update my proof of residence for Rica, so I uploaded my lease agreement online. Apparently that wasn't good enough because they decided to put my account on hold without warning or any communication that my documents were rejected. They also can't tell me why...</p> <p>So, there I am yesterday, trying to pay for medicine at the pharmacy and I can't!! The FNB guy on the phone tells me I need to go into the branch and sort it out and then my account will be unblocked in 2 days!!! This was Saturday afternoon! So, I need to take off work on Monday to sort this out (which I can't really do because the workload is insane this time of year) and then hopefully my cards will be working again on Wednesday... what the hell am I supposed to do until then??? Live without access to my own money??? This is absolutely insane!! I have been a very loyal customre for years and I don't deserve to be treated like this! Goodbye FNB.. I think I'll move to "Beep"Bank</p>

Reviewer Update

Hi Daffnie

Just to give you an update...

Lerato Sebofe phoned me on the Monday to try and rectify the situation, but it has been a week now and she is not responding to my e-mails. The problem we are facing is the proof of residence and I don't know what to give you to other than invite you to my house so that you can take a photo and see where I live!!!

I have a lease that has been expired, but we have decided with the Landord to extend (there is no end date though, becuase neither party wants to sign for an end date right now and we are not willing to go through an agency again, since it costs money). The Landord did send a notice that the lease is extended from 1 October, but you guys can't accept that

I get my electricity bill mailed straight to my work e-mail address, but because it says dear Tenant and not dear Anrie de Kock, you wont' accept that either

I don't have retail accounts that get posted to my address, we live in a technology era (who still uses snail mail?? It is a waste of paper, when you can receive these things via e-mail)

I asked if there is some kind of form that the Landord can fill in to confirm that I stay at my current address, so Lerato sent me a form that someone would fill in saying that they confirm that this person stays WITH them at this address. I explained that my Landord doesnt stay with me and if it is still ok if she fills in the form and it has been 3 days of complete silence since then (even though I sent another mail asking her to respond to my mail)

The service has been shocking, and it seems like no one really wants to help me!

It is the end of the month, I need to pay my rent and I can't because my account is inactive!!!!!! What is going to happen to my debit orders? If I get black listed because of you guys, I will take this very very far!
