FNB has no regard for their customers! I’m repulsed!

I have been waiting for feedback from my “most trusted bank” FNB regarding my car license Renewal using Nav Car.

I had app**** to get it renewed on the 24th of September, an amount of R655.00 was taken from my account with no hassles. A couple of day later I received an email from Nav Car asking for proof of payment as they were unable to locate my payment. It was confirmed that it was received, however that was the last email I had received. I have emailed Car Nav countless times asking for feedback as to when I should be receiving the car license renewal, but no one has taken the time to get back to me.

I had complained twice on the FNB app as well as over the phone, of which a consultant was supposed to get back to me within 24-48 hours, this was on the 23rd of October. I am still waiting for that consultant.

Out of panic I called the so called Nav Car department and I was informed that the Road protection is handling my renewal. I called them too, and guess what... The consultant could not find any of my details on the system, in fact my car license renewal was not handled by them. Apparently Nav Car abruptly changed Gauteng Licence renewal provider with no explanation. So who do I call now??

I took the final decision to have my money refunded back because no one s assisting or ready to take accountability. I went to an FNB branch to have this sorted out and it was escalated, requesting the funds to be reversed, this was the 4th of November, of which I was informed that the escalation will be actioned within 24-48 hours (FNB’s favorite lie)... Still I have not received feedback. As I am writing this review I’m in the bank, and just discovered that the escalation was never actioned or looked into and it looks like I might not be getting my money back.

Well done FNB on the appalling customer service. Valuing your customers is indeed the last thing this Financial service provider is worried about.

They don’t even deserve a star!
