FNB has no love for loyal customers

I had a 'special arrangement' on my credit card repayments - not because I failed to pay, but because of a mistake on FNB's side. Firstly, I was never informed that for the duration of this, I would not be able to use the credit card. Secondly, I just received a phone call to inform me the amount has been settled, and now the card will be cancelled. Another thing I was never informed of!

But not to worry - they 'can see' I always paid more than I was supposed to on my card, so I 'shouldn't have a problem applying for a new one'.

Seriously FNB. Seriously. Don't even bother phoning me, because I know you won't do anything to actually assist me.

I just feel that other people should be aware of how things work with this bank.

As expected, FNB offers no help - despite my stating that they shouldn't even try, because I know nothing will come of this. Now I was left with a third piece of info which I was not informed of before - I must wait 6 months before applying for a new card. No thank you FNB, I'll rather see if I can find a company that offers better treatment.

Update: turns out my Revolving Loan also gets cancelled in this process. AGAIN nobody feels like I, the client, needs to know this. Honestly, give me a good reason why I should stay with a bank that does not care for loyal clients, communication or even simple apologies for their own errors?
