FNB has lost their competent OLD EMPLOYEES
I am so disappointed with FNB Florida Rd Durban + FNB Credit Card Dept + Student Loan Dept.
I have had a Premier Credit Card for years now and make repayments 25th of every month as a debit order has been setup. Early Jan I had gone online to increase my card limit and that request was stuck in FNB system and never materialised. Instead FNB issued me with a new Aspire Credit Card which i did not request. Their courier service calls me up 1 day advising me that they have a credit card on hand to deliver, so i had accepted it but to date (19th April) i have not opened the envelope and have not swiped or used the card. FNB credit card division calls me 5 to 6 times a day requesting payment on the card as there is an outstanding repayment due. what FNB did was they transferred all my transactions from my Premier Credit Card to the Aspire Credit Card. i have gone to FNB Florida and they have been absolutely unhelpful. FNB Credit Card dept too have been notified of this error from their end and to date have done nothing to rectify this. i called the helpline to no avail, i emailed to no avail, i went online to address this to no avail. I cannot believe that FNB called me 5 to 6 times a day for the past few week and not a single consultant has made any notes on my issue on their system for other to follow up or read before calling me. i find myself repeating myself and nothing has been done.
Also FNB Florida rd was quick to take on a commission on my business for a student loan and the consultant Sindi just disappeared on me. the student loan was granted however its not a student loan but a personal loan. When Sindi was called on numerous occasions she just brushed this off and left us to handle the matter alone. Here too we cannot get hold of any FNB employee to assist.
My husband & i have been loyal clients with FNB for many many years and we both have decided to move banks end May23. We started our business with FNB in 2009 because their interest rates for a HL was the best so we both closed our current bank accounts and moved to FNB. the service way back them was excellent. Not sure if its the new employees who lack credibility.
With FNB leaving us with such bad service, I am afraid my husband & i will be closing our account end May.
