FNB has hit top spot for worst client experience ever

App**** for a new FNB card by visiting the in-store Branch at the Mall @ Reds in centurion. When the lady asked me if I would like to collect the card or have it delivered I told her I will collect as I live right behind the mall ****erally behind it, 100m from the store).

a week later (7 days) I went into the branch to ask where my card is because I was told it would be there in 3 - 5 days I was told a request to have it couriered was processed.

I then carried on waiting another 3 days when I decided to call CCD Couriers myself, of which they then made an appointment 2 days later.

Today is day number 14 and I spoke to CCD again. Apparently the driver tried to call me but because my number was not updated by the FNB representative they cannot get hold of me, and also cant change my number on their end due to "security concerns"

I told CCD I think they must change the delivery to the bank because that's what I asked in the first place of which I was told there will be a R100 charge.

This is PATHETIC, unacceptable. Where does FNB provide their training to the employees because clearly they all just sit around and drink coffee while watching presentation that is a round 0 on a contract.

So my history with FNB (and I haven't even been with them that long)

First, opened up a Savings pocket that takes my money without authorization

Secondly, My initial card was deliver to the branch where I collected 3 days late Thirdly, I am still waiting for my eBucks card. I have since got my own from checkers and activated it

Thirdly, app**** for a Huawei p20 Lite and got declined because my Allowed limit is R310 p/m (the phone costs R289 p/m)

Fourthly, The delivery of my card is a week late by now....

I though ABSA was bad. Wait till you join FNB....

Got a call from FNB on onday to say it was a misunderstanding between FNB store and Couriers. Told me she will call me as she gets updates. So two days after she called me last time I called the complaints department myself. lady there said she will have the branch contact me. this is 3 hours ago. Called the branch myself and was simply told she will put me through to the couriers to find out where the card is. How exactly is this my problem? So I just hung up. FNB, you call this damage recovery? Oh wait, what recovery. Thanks for nothing FNB!

Just got another call from FNB where the guy was investigating the reason behind my card not being delivered. told him the story and how I originally requested the card to be delivered to the branch instead. Was told again the cost would be R100 for the delivery to the branch because of CCD . So help me out here. the client is willing to spend money to get to the branch, spend time that has to make time for him / her to get to the branch and you charge him / her. pathetic? Where is your loyalty? So I cancelled the card now, will find myself a new bank. FNB is not a peoples bank, they are just like the government
