FNB has a lackadaisical attitude towards clients
FNB doesn't seem to care about their clients. It takes tons of time to get anything done, if done at all. You don’t get any tangible explanation from anyone and after calling the service suite, you end the call more confused than you were. I am a private wealth client at the bank and seriously considering moving to a new bank. The bankers are not helpful, total waste of time. I have had to request for a change of bankers twice in a few months and still facing same problems. The bankers are never available to assist you and when they do, they refer you to different departments (Why do I have a banker in the first place if I have to handle things myself?). I have been trying to add my partner to my account for over a month now and still it hasn’t been done. I have filled several forms and even went in to the private Wealth offices for verifications in person (this was almost 3 weeks ago). Still there has been no one explaining to me exactly why this hasn’t been done yet. I have tried to apply for a personal loan and been declined and no one can explain why to me. I have a salary of over 40, 000 and a monthly income over 100,000 a month. How can I not be qualified for a personal loan while I have a credit card with limit of 150, 000 and overdraft credit of 120, 000. None of this makes any sense to me and why I try to inquire from the loan department, I am referred to sales who in turn refers me trans union and same circle again. If I walked into another bank, I will get a personal loan easy but my bank will not approve me nor explain why not. I am running out of patience with FNB. You will think the Private Wealth level of banking will give you a high level of attention and satisfaction but that’s not the case.
