FNB hangs onto your money

I have just queried with FNB about why money transfers are recently taking so long. It used to take approximately two days for money to be paid into other banks' accounts, now it is taking about five to eight days. This has caused me to incur penalties for late payment, when the money left my account several days before. I phoned customer care, who told me that there was nothing I could do about, and then cut me off.
