FNB Handling of *****

On the 18th of August there were 3 suspicious transactions on my FNB current account. I phoned the ***** section immediately (within 10 minutes). The amounts were flagged, and was pending for 3 days. What I can not understand, is that the amounts went through, although they were flagged! I was told that it can take between 7 and 30 days before the investigation can determine if I can get my money back. Surely it should not take that long? I do not know of many people who can afford to lose more than R 40 000 and be without that money for so long.
