FNB Gold Phone & FNB Connect

<p>Wow</p> <p>I got myself the FNB gold phone a month ago. The process was okay and got the phone the same day.</p> <p>2weeks down the line my baby daughter of 7 months (no teeth) bites on the corner of the phone and the screen cracks making the phone unusable. Take it in for repairs. The repair shop (advised by FNB) has the phone for 18 days and didn't receive any stock from FNB to date (now longer than a month)</p> <p> </p> <p>FNB then replaces the phone which i am happy with.</p> <p> </p> <p>A week after getting my new phone, it falls from the bed (40cm fall) onto a CARPET. The phone falls back 1st, meaning the screen faced up. and guess what, SCREEN CRACKED AGAIN! </p> <p> </p> <p>Seriously? I've had other name branded phones that fell more than once and harder falls and the phone was then still in perfect nick.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've called the call centre several times (probably 30+ times) and NOT ONCE have I spoken to someone with my issue as they ALWAYS have a large call volume. I've held the line for more than 40minutes on 4 occasions with still no answer.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've emailed them 6times requesting a call back and again, guess what... Yes you guessed right. I'm still waiting on a call.</p> <p> </p> <p>So now what do I do FNB? Do I rather get myself an other branded phone for the same price and revert my sim back to my previous provider whom i was with for 12+years with none of these hassles I'm getting from FNB Connect?</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm really sad that I'm getting this service from you and I'm not the only one complaining. </p>
