FNB Goes Techno - Bad Service

What is FNB really up to..... I am on a Platinum package because my local bank in RBay convinced me to change because I would have a set monthly fee of R199 and I could skip all the ques and have direct access to a person in a private office.

Worked wonderfully for years. Then all of a sudden I am told that I will no longer earn Ebucks unless I load their App to my phone and handle most of my business on that application. In addition to that I will no longer be able to see my banker at the branch - but wait I am still paying the same for a service I am no longer getting.

I then conform and load the App only to get no response to the many questions that I have. So instead of having a 10 minute conversation with someone in private I am now resorting to an hour on my phone in between work time.

But wait there is more.... I am being prompted to move to your new card for private banking (what I had before) at a new cost of R365pm???? 83% increase in fees for the same service!!!

I have been with FNB since I was 16 years old and have never felt more frustrated as I do now.

Be careful that you do not lose your personal touch with all these advances in technology.
