FNB: Glorified Loan Sharks

Glorified loan sharks. Don’t let you apply or add on to your student loan easily, so that they can catch you out. Documents get sent in time and are then ignored. I’ve been paying a ridiculous amount of interest on what is supposed to be my student loan for the past 3 months. It was explicitly stated on application that it is a student loan, all of my calls can be pulled. I also wrote on the paperwork that the initiation fee and interest were not correct. It is a massive difference in interest and fees. The entire “private banking” model is a waste of time and money as there’s no value added.

I’ve logged a complaint but I am around 99.5% sure that it will not get resolved. Glorified loan sharks.
