FNB Global Account with Lounge Key

FNB Global account with lounge key did not grant us access to the Bidvest Lounge at Cape Town International Airport.

They do accept lounge key, but for some reason, ours was declined? I even phoned them in advance to check that lounge key will be acceptable. I really don't like it to be shown away, this is why I did my research first. In the end, I had to pay R380 per person to get access to the lounge.

Can you please explain why we have access to almost every lounge worldwide, but in our home town, we are not allowed free access. Why should we travel the world to use this benefit?

I would really like to be refunded by FNB, as I was under the impression that lounge key will grant me access. I paid the access fee just not to be humiliated in front of other clients.

As per our telephonic conversation, a formal complaint has been logged and reference number ***NF was issued.
