FNB Gardens

Am not sure what's happening at FNB Gardens. It appears that neither do they. I arrived at the gardens branch in cape town last week at the right day and time to collect my forex. Only to be informed by the teller that they had forgotten to phone me to let me know that my forex is not ready. He then informed me that due to the odd denominations, they had to order notes from overseas hence the delay. I returned the following week, only to be told the system is down and my forex cannot be processed. Despite having left my contact details, nobody had gotten back to me. I then contacted FNB Forex telephonically(and spoke to the person who had processed my forex transaction) who informed me that my forex was ready on the stipulated day for collection last week; and that the system being down this week would not have mattered as my forex transactions were already processed and I had to just collect it from the branch. FNB Gardens is messed up! I now have no time to fetch my forex from the bank before I leave. You guys are an absolute inconvenience and waste of time.

I informed FNB Gardens in my complaint that "I now have no time to fetch my forex from the bank before I leave."

Have received a follow up email from FNB gardens telling me my forex is ready and I must come in to the bank to collect it. If only they paid attention to customers and actually read their emails properly. Sigh.
