FNB GAMBLES WITH OUR LIVES

High Priority Complain!!

Don't gamble with my life.

Please note that on 10th March 2023. I contacted the FNB Life at around 10h59, the call took 11 minutes.

Dear FNB Please don't gamble with our lives I have been the policy holder for the past 8 years I took the policy while I was still fresh from the varsity. It started with 65 rand per month now I am paying 465 rand per month.

On the 10th March 2023 I phoned regarding a debit order to be reinstated the consultant I spoke to advised me that it has been reinstated as a I was behind, however there wasn't any debit order yesterday. Why did she lie that it has been reinstated? Why did she gamble with my life? Does FNB endorse such kind of behavior?

Today, when I phone they advised me that I need to take out a new funeral plan the old one can't be reinstated on the basis that it has lapsed and this was never discussed with me. The condition state that customers are given 60 days to resintate their policies, but why am I obligated to take out a new policy?

Call was made on the 10 Mar 2023, I was confident that I am covered to my surprise I am not covered. If I died who was going to be held accountable? I will there in the morgue while your employee who sold me lies get salaries on the 20th. Do you endorse that?

As I type this complaint I am on the line with Prudence, the call is taking more than 30 Minutes. Firstly she disputed the fact policy can't be reinstated and all communication were sent to me regarding the matter, she further disputed to send me policy document, I think FNB should address the issue of home made laws and policies, Your customers are suffering because of the home made laws by your employees who believes that your customers are illiterate to understand the terms and conditions. She then referred the matter to Team Leader by the name of Smangaliso.

FNB your employees are gambling with our lives and it looks like you are condoning it. Imagine if I died and experiencing this, I wonder what would have happened to the beneficiary.
