FNB Fusion Premier Account ****

I've been a FNB client for a couple of years now and my account was recently switched from the normal premier account to the fusion premier account.

Firstly, I'm really unhappy about the fact that I app**** for a credit card to improve my credit score and instead I was given an overdraft. I would not have app**** had it been clear that this is not a credit card. There were other banks offering me credit cards but I opted on going with FNB since I'm already a client but I'm disappointed with this false information we are given so that they can make sales. Secondly, I received an sms telling me that the money I used on overdraft will be deducted on my payday - which was ok with me. I've now called FNB to close this fusion account business and give me back my normal account and credit card. They have however advised that they never deducted the overdraft amount because I did not give them an instruction to deduct which means that I'm still owing the overdraft amount!!! This is so ridiculous as now they've told me that I need to call them and let them know when they should deduct and how much, this is such an inconvenience for a bank that claims to put customers first!
