FNB Funeral Plan Claims Declined

Ive had a funeral policy with FNB that started on the 22nd of july 2025 and waiting period is 6 months and the person that i opened the policy for, passed on on the 8th of January 2026 and yesterday i submitted the documents of his departure and my claim is been declined...apparently only because it is not yet past 6 months they stipulated. And i havent been working since October 2025. So i have a predicament im an unable to help bury my father but i have paid 6 premium waiting period amount. Please assist if you may.
