FNB Funeral Insurance plan Failed my Family

Hi Im very disappointed with Fnb funeral insurance plan they failed my family , my little brother the Late Thapelo Phillemon Motsoeneng ID no : 831 ********** 082 , account number Fl ********** 311 had the insurance plan with fnb and he was paying for himself the premium accordingly. Unfortunately the death came his way and he past on , As the family in the event of pain of losing our beloved one and frustration for funeral preparations, we then make a claim to FNB Funeral Insurance and so surprisingly they told us that the beneficiary name is incorrect , we then find that the beneficiary is AriaN Motsoeneng date of birth 1974/ november and in our family we have only Aria N Motsoeneng date of birth 1956 which is my mother . We then ask for advice since we don't have such a person in our family , they then advice us to apply for letter of Authority and to open the estate account , which we done and give everything to them ,and they told us that everything will be under investigations since 2018-10-14 . And according to the Terms and conditions FNB life clause 10 stated that if you die without a nominated beneficiary or your beneficiary does not submit a claim within a reasonable period of time ( which is how many day or period ?????) , FNB life may pay the benefits to the your estate or to the claimant who submitted the the required claim documents. we did that but nothing happened , we struggled to bury my brother . We still waiting for FNB to pay our expenses . This is a lesson to us that even if you pay for FNB funeral insurance plan for your family dont be so sure that they will cover your funeral expense in the event of your death . The chances are your family will struggle or you.
