FNB freezes Credit Card accounts without warning

Without warning FNB just decided on Sunday of all days that my credit card will now be blocked. They just simply made my account balance 0.

I transfer my entire grocery and fuel budget every month to my FNB Premier Credit Card. On top of that I also pay MORE than I am supposed to for my credit card so that I can reduce the interest on my card. It is also so that when I go over a budget a little that there will always by backup credit when I need it. Not only that, it helps me separate spending from my Cheque account.

So what does FNB do? they just flick a switch and cut off any means for me to put fuel in my car as well as to buy food. So I had to stand with a full trolley of food at Checkers and get a decline message. I could also not pay from my Checque account because I did not have enough money left.

When I looked at my phone it simply said. Outstanding documents are required to comply with FICA. Please call the number at the back of your card.

I do not have outstanding FICA documents on my credit card. It was renewed a long time ago. What FICA documents is this? How do you as FNB just decide to cut off my accounts? No warning either. And this is not the first time FNB has done this. This is not the first time this has been done to me by FNB.

I had to make a short term loan now (which FNB will very happily and *********ly cash in on with interest now). Funny how my revolving loan has not been blocked as well.

Not good FNB, not good at all.
