FNB ***** help useless

I have been a client of FNB for several years. Unfortunately, I don't have a huge bank balance or large investments which seems to make me insignificant.

I was working late when 4 transactions went off my account literally seconds apart. I immediately phoned FNB and notified them of the amounts. I cancelled my card and lodged a complaint. After 14 days and no communication from FNB, I first held on for hours to get through to their ***** Investigation Department with no success so used the chat option. I was notified that the case had been dismissed as FNB was not at fault. Neither was I. You get warned about ****s on the website. Why would I authorize 4 amounts to go off in succession for something I don't recognize. I immediately called the FNB. The amounts were still pending at that stage, and I was told I have to wait until the amounts have gone off my account. FNB could have intervened while the amounts were pending. I waited for the amounts to go off my account and then get told it is not their fault. Well, it wasn't mine either. Does FNB not provide protection for its clients, or do you need to have a lot of money in the bank and huge investments to count. I am thoroughly disgusted with the way FNB dealt with this matter. No communication, you need to hunt them down and then just a "we are not responsible" answer. Ironically, I moved my Mom's account to FNB too. Now I have put her at risk for the same thing happening. R665.23 x 4 transactions makes a difference to the insignificant.

Not even complaining on Hello Peter makes a difference. I received an automated response that "someone from the relevant department" will respond with a reference number. Still nothing.
