FNB ***** division unresponsive
Hi there FNB, Every once and a while I must stress my grievances on this platform because in my experience this is the only way to get your attention. On Monday the 1st of August 2022 I received an SMS from you informing me of a suspicious transaction on my account. Thankfully, the transaction was declined possibly due to the astronomical amount the ********** were trying access. It’s a pity this platform won’t allow me to attach the screenshots I took, but let me demonstrate the timeline below to paint a picture of how pathetic your ***** agents and the entire division is: - I received the notification concerning the suspicious transaction roughly around 13h09 opting me to respond “N” if I was not aware of this transaction. I responded with “N” at 13h11. - At 13h11 I received an SMS from FNB stating a ***** agent will call me shortly - At 13h28 I received another SMS from FNB prompting me to with another 3 options to which I selected “1” for a ***** agent to call me now. “Now” is the operative word. - At 13h29 I receive a second SMS from FNB stating a ***** agent will call me shortly - At 13h45 another SMS from FNB was sent the same SMS as the above. This was the last communication I received from FNB to this date. Can someone from FNB please explain to me why an agent did not contact me yet? I find it tremendously insulting not to mention grossly irresponsible for FNB not to follow up on ********** activities reported by their clients. You have the records which will show not a single phone call was made to me in this regard. Your agents are quick to call when your interests are at stake, but we, your clients, must just accept the unilateral conduct being proved by FNB. It is reprehensible to think 20 calendar days have lapsed without on single call from FNB. Is ***** of this nature so rife in this country that even a corporate giant like yourselves cannot keep up with the workload? You need to let me know because it is then self-evident my money is not safe in your hands. Are we as clients and our queries being processed based on a priority scale and mine was simply a bottom-tier incident? How low is your lowest tier if my query has been left unattended for 20 calendar days? These are powerful statements and questions I am posing to you. In your view, they are invalid, but they are certainly not dismissible. Salaries are due in the next couple of days, and I trust that you will have the answers and solutions for me by then. Look forward to receiving your response here. Regards,
