FNB ***** DEPARTMENT THABO LEBEPE

FNB your treatment is horrific and unacceptable. I have been a very loyal client and I do not know what Thabo Lebepe has against me but this I will not let is die down. My husband assisted a friend to receive an amount of R8650 without him knowing that is **********ly money. He needed to give the whole amount hence transferred R5000 to my account, Immediately I withdrew the money. We have gone to the police to report the case however because the money was not ours and we did not have any case number from FNB we were told to write affidavits. FNB requested for me to submit all my source of income and I have done that.

This case has been dealt with by a very rude agent by the name of Thabo Lepebe who told me from the first day that I should know that my case is not his priority, he has other clients to take care of. I found that very unacceptable. I have spoken to Thabo’s team leader Samantha last week who promised to get back to me after 2 hours but never bothered to. I have spoken to my banker Cade, who indicated that he is not getting any feedback from the ***** department.

The last communication from Thabo was when he was requesting for my proof of address which I sent. Yesterday I got a call from another agent who indicated that my account will be unfrozen today before 10. I have been checking and nothing has taken place or what so ever. I started chatting with another agent on the app who indicated that I should call the ***** department. As I have Thabo Lebepe’s direct line I called him immediately only for him to tell me over the phone that my account with FNB will be terminated. And of course, sounding as rude as he always is. Thabo does not know me personally but I sure can sense something really off with him. The last chat I had with him over the phone he had promised to give me the case number reported to the police and the investigator’s name and number dealing with the case. I had not heard anything from him in that regard.

I called Cade who indicated that all this doesn’t make any sense as it doesn’t from my side either because if my account is to be terminated, I have to be given written notice. I called Samantha as well and she admitted that despite the complaint I addressed with her regarding Thabo she never followed anything up. I need the case number of this case and I need FNB to explained to me how I am at fault and to look at all my history and let me know if terminating my account is what I deserve. ***
