FNB ***** DEPARTMENT

I had some ***** ATM activities which resulted to block all transactions related my FNB account. My daughters Capitec account was unfortunately also blocked as well as I transferred money to her account. I went to numerous branches where no manager could assist me and I was advise to log a call with their ***** departments telephonically inside the branch. I had to liase with different consultants and I was sent from the one department to the next as nobody knew how to assist me. Numerous mails were sent to ***, ***, *** without getting any assistance. If there were a respond they couldn't assist and passed it to another department, assuming it was that departments query. I went with my daughter to Capitec Clearwater but their ***** department can't just open her account without somebody at FNB instruct them to do so. Her Capitec account is now blocked since 25 July 2019 until present (06 Sept'19). Every ***** department at FNB I contacted can't assist? Surely there should be somebody competent enough in the FNB ***** department to liase with me. All I want is for FNB to instruct the Capitec ***** department to unblock my daughters account as she can't access funds from her account. I have two reference number given to me previously - *** and RI ***. I'm banking with FNB for years and never had such bad service in my life. I suggest the consultants in the ***** departments should go for proper training to understand the different type of queries to assist their clients. I will appreciate if somebody competent enough of a senior rank will get back to me or I will have no alternative to go the legal route and FNB will have carry the legal costs.

Thanks FNB , hardly 5 minutes after this complaint was logged somebody at FNB called me and this matter was finally resolved. Just sad that it took almost two moths to resolve
