FNB ***** claim resolution

So 10 minutes after I posted a review(with the same title) on Hellopeter 12 days ago, I receive a phone call from FNB's customer liaisons staff. I get advised that somebody from "my team of bankers" will make contact with me. This is days after I have submitted my initial claim. Here i am thinking now FNB will do something about this now, and I need not worry. Sadly, 12 days on the situation has actually gotten worse!!!

The communication I received on the day was simply to shut me up and not create awareness for other consumers on how bad FNB are at protecting your money(which is a legal obligation). It was obvious that the response was automated and I am sure they send the same response to everyone who cries foul.

A few days after the aforementioned communication, I get a mail from "my team of bankers" saying that they apologies for the ***** division's turn around time has been exceeded and that they will find out what is going on( i have proof of all this and can be made available upon request). From then until yesterday, absolutely no communication whatsoever!!!!

Until i decided to contact the ***** division myself, and again THIS IS THE WORST DEPARTMENT TO DEAL WITH AT FNB. God forbid anyone reading this to have to contact the FNB ***** division. there is absolutely NO compassion or empathy for your situation whatsoever!! the consultant I spoke to KEVIN SMITH was unbelievable rude and almost as if he was doing me a favour. He was the worst consultant i have ever had to deal with in my life. I wonder if FNB actually listen to these recorded phone calls like the little disclaimer says before you speak to a consultant. He was absolutely dismissive and actually, I would like a formal apology for his behavior as it is unacceptable!! You would want to belive that your bank atleast shares a little compassion for your situation, but Kevin Smith just proved that it is just another job!!

This Kevin Smith then says that I need to fill out some claim form. How infuriating can FNB make their clients??? If I had not made communication with the ***** team, then I would not have known this and I would still be under the impression that somebody is working on my claim !!!

I actually have no more words for how bad an experience dealing with FNB is. Whoever gets a chance to read this, MOVE AWAY FROM FNB!!! they do not particularly care about the individual. Your earnings are not well looked after and they will take you on a journey around the world before they pay you back your losses. Rather move to a rigid bank as it seems like money security is not high on the list of priorities at FNB(or customer retention for that matter).

:-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

This exact response was what I received last time and nothing was really done until I called in to find out what is going on. This is just a automated response to make it seem that you are attending to this issue, but nothing has been happening for close to 7 weeks now.
