FNB ***** & Bank charges

Last week Wednesday when I opened my banking App I found out there were 45 R5,00 charges incurred on my Gold Cheque account, the magtape registered this as Quagga Mainline. Then my mind quickly took me to the e-toll. I went to the Attlyn branch to go see if it was indeed e-tolls making transactions on my account. The consultant confirmed that it was e-tolls and she called out the card number that was making transactions. The card number was an old card that was lost back in April and had been canceled. The consultant gave me their ***** toll free number to report the case. I immediately called the number and the lady that was helping me opened a case for me and told me that I was going to get a call from the investigators. The following morning when I went to the App I found another charge this time it was a R1230 unpaid bank charge. I went back to the Attlyn branch thinking I'll get assistance for these charges to be reversed. I was again told to call the toll free number, I got infuriated thinking I'm getting paid a day later what if these transactions keep on happening. I told the bank managers that I'm not leaving the bank until I get assistance but my efforts to fight this were zero. I went outside the bank to make that toll free number call, after a "good" 20 minutes not being able to get through I eventually spoke to one of the ***** consultants who was also very rude to me, She said that my old card that was lost was not hard locked, she told me that she'll reverse the charges which will reflect the following day. When I checked the App the following morning only the R5,00 charges for e-tolls were reversed and not the R1230 unpaid charges. I called the toll free yet again and this time I was taken from pillar to post, no one knew who could help me with reversing this charge until I got through to a guy named John. When I explained what my issue was he politely said I do have access to log a case to the debit order department to reverse this charge, he gave me a case number and advised that it will take 72 working hours for this case to be resolved. On Monday 28.06.21 I called the toll free number to do a follow up on the reversal of the R1230, one consultant of the many that I spoke to couldn't pick up the case number that John logged. I went back to the Attlyn branch to explain what my issue was regarding the reversal of the bank charges and the consultant that was helping me logged another case, took down my contact number and said she'll give me a call later to advise me of the status of the case. Did I get a call? No. Today on the 29.06.21 40 R5,00 e-toll charges that cost R200 happened again on a card that's said to have been hard locked. FNB now owes me R1430 meaning I have to call their toll free number again to reverse R200 that happened on the e-toll luckily this time around there's money in my account or else I would have been charged for unpaid bank charges. What saddens me is that this is not my problem but theirs, it's not my fault that their technology is messed up. This card shouldn't be working but for some reason it is. The country should know that their monies are not safe with FNB and that they won't get the help they need should ********** invade their accounts.
