Good day

Since April 2020 I have Been requesting my account to be closed as I was not using it anymore and due to Covid not receiving any income I was getting messages saying my account is overdrawn due to debits but no debits went through as those creditors contacted me and I had to pay cash!!!!

Today almost a year later the bank is now claiming that I owe them R6800 !!

This is unacceptable as I have proof that asked for my account to be closed and that I never ever requested an overdraft and even the though the bank claimed that they paid my debit orders they did not as the creditors contacted me for payment
