FNB Forex - We make our mistakes Yours

Our business needed to make an international / forex payment to a foreign customer. FNB required either a local or foreign invoice to support the payment to the customer which we duly provided. The next day 3 payments instead of only 1 of the same amount was paid to the same customer. How this was not picked up by either FNB's ***** department or any of their consultants is beyond me? However, the worst experience has been the response from FNB to resolve this issue. So much so that FNB's suggestion (after 2 weeks of non-stop calls and emails) is that I contact the customer directly in order to recall the funds quicker?? Absolutely unacceptable. It has been 2 weeks & yet no refund. Very disappointed & considering another bank for our business.

It has been exactly 1 month since this error occurred. And still no resolution. FNB has said that they have received no feedback from the international bank to where the payment was made & that I should contact the client directly. How it is that I have to follow up on this request & to approach the client directly? What happens if I did not know who the client was? This is incredibly unprofessional. When an international payment is made, an invoice is required which I provided. However, 3 payments for the same amount was made on only 1 invoice as proof. How does FNB justify this oversight?
