FNB FOREX - POOR SERVICE & BAD ATTITUDE

I am expecting funds from abroad. SWIFT payment was made on 2017/01/17. I requested FNB to follow up on payment on 2017/01/20 the first time. After sending numerous emails and the SWIFT payment details, FNB responded on 2017/01/30 for the first time to my emails and telephone call, their reply: "Please kindly be advised we are unable to trace the below funds".

I have contacted the sender of the funds. They in return contacted their bank immedietely and sent me this reply received from their bank: “They (their bank) do not understand why your bank can not trace when they have the swift, our bank has not received any request from your bank about the payment either.”

Why has FNB not contacted the sending bank? What I understand from FNB is that this is my problem and I should not make it theirs.

Ths is not the first FNB FOREX payment problem I have experianced. In the past year I have experience a number of FNB FOREX payment problems. In each instance I needed to follow up with FNB FOREX; the only way to get FNB FOREX to attend and respond to the matters.

FNB Forex / Complaints replied yesterday. However, they investigated / addressed another payment, not the payment under discussion.

I have to date sent FNB Forex 11 x EMAILS with details regarding the outstanding SWIFT payment.

It seems they have ignored the provided details regarding this problem and subsequent complaint.
