FNB Forex Deprtment

I recently needed to pay a beneficiary from China, I used FNB forex to make this payment. I set up the payment and accepted the 'deal'. I was then contacted via email for my tax number. I forward my details on the following morning to which I get an out of office email for that day. A day later my payment is canceled, I call FNB to find out what had happened, they just said I need to try the payment again and submit my details. They are unsure as to why it was canceled exactly.

I do the payment over, to which I get called for my tax number. I submit my tax number and get informed all was on order. Later that day I check the payment and to my surprise it is labeled 'canceled ' and the full amount has been placed back into my account.

I now made alternative arrangements to make payment due to FNB being incapable of assisting me with my payment. I waited the weekend and phoned on the Monday morning to find out what is going on. I now was billed for each payment for the difference between the buying and selling of the dollars which has hurt my pocket.

FNB has been sorely lacking in their effort in assisting me, and frankly hasn't lived up to their slogan "how may we help you".
