FNB foreign transfers do not work

This morning I visited an FNB branch to load a MoneyGram beneficiary, so that I can send money to my daughter who is studying in the UK. The FNB staff member assured me that I would be able to transfer money via MoneyGram on my cellphone and by using online banking. I could not see the MoneyGram option online, so I registered for cellphone banking and have tried to send money twice now via that channel, following the MoneyGram instruction manual to the letter. Neither attempt worked. The system keeps telling me to go back into an FNB branch to complete the transaction.

If I wanted to go into a branch every time I needed to transfer money, I would have transferred the money while I was there this morning. The whole point of this system is that I should not need to go into a branch.

Seems to me that FNB systems just do not work. They appear to be there just to waste our valuable time. Now another day will go by while my daughter has no money.
