FNB forcing me into unemployment
For several months now, I have been working for international websites as a freelance transcriber (I had been unemployed for about three years, and this has now become my only option). Everything was going well, until I discovered that FNB won't allow me to actually transfer any of my hard-earned money from PayPal (that is how you get paid when you work over the internet) into my bank account, due to the fact that I owe them money. Therefore, not only are they blocking me from earning a living, but they are also blocking me from using my earnings to pay my debt to FNB. E-mails to FNB regarding this went unanswered. On the numerous occasions I phoned FNB to try and sort this out, I got sent from pillar to post with no result (a lot of people at FNB don't seem to even know what PayPal is, which is understandable, I suppose, since FNB is doing their best to choke South Africans' access to it). Thanks a lot, FNB. Thanks to you, I am now unemployed again.
