FNB - FLINGING NEW BUSINESS AWAY part 2

So Fnb responds once to a complaint to say they are attending to it but thats it. They don't check if it has been resolved and if you comment on their review they just ignore it. Please see Flinging new business away part 1 for context. The jist is that my wife and I were give a very high interest rate on a home loan (after it was declined incorrectly) due to a direct axis account that was closed in 2006 that their systems still picked up. No other bank picked it up as its not on itc due to the fact that my wife closed it 10 years ago. Hayley Naidoo said that she can't assist us because we need to get a closure letter. The only reason FNB picked it up is becuase it was an Internal Flag - so if its an Internal issue then why can't you get a closure letter? I threatend FNB by saying that I will go to the ombudsman and lo and behold 48 hours later - wham - a closure letter. No apology or anything like that. During all of this FNB impacted my credit rating negatively due to the incorrect decline and then did 3 itc checks on me and 4 on my wife - also negatively impacting our itc rating. FNB - How can we help you???? More like FNB - How can we torment you. Still waiting for this to be corrected and an apology and not a generic copy and paste on this forum
