FNB Fleecing Clients : Connect Top-Up 5GB

I was canvassed telephonically by FNB to sign up for their supposedly fantastic Connect Top-Up 5GB offer. Unbeknown to myself FNB went and deduct pro-rata for August and also for September 2017 without authority as I agreed to a fee to be deducted 25.07.2017 as that is my paydate. Unbeknown to me I also get slapped with a R89.00 courier cost.

To add insult to injury , my enquiry will now lead to an investigation over 5 working days and the IF , I qualify for a refund , wait for it, it takes 21 Days to materialise. I am stunned by how with minimum declaration , oon clever Sales Conversation, people are duped into these packages not knowing the full implication of their agreement.

Ommision of information or complete declaration of facts is tantamount to unfair practice. I am left feeling as if I am ******. This is not a good feeling and I am amazed that this should happen to one of our Major Commercial Banks involved, besides this can cause major reputational damage if this behaviour is common.

I trust I will be afforded a fair resolution, in a reasonable period

Yours in Sales
