FNB fixed something which wern't broken

FNB fixed something that weren't broken. Now it's completely broken. In the past they had business consultants whom were available all the time, except when they were out seeing clients (the type of service which they used to render). Now you must wait in the queue to see the consultants which aren't trained as well as the old business consultants regarding businesses. Some of my business accounts were closed due to non activity. After I had to wait for the non business consultant, I were rudely told that they have send a notice to inform me that the account were going to be closed. With a few accounts that all received fnb emails I might've missed that email. My predicament is that payments were made into these accounts and according to FNB the payment would've been send back to the sender. But they are unable to provide proof that it actually did. I now have clients with proof of payments but I have no proof that it were send back. So I'm working for free. One of the more difficult parties are SARS. They feel that my bank details were changed and I didn't inform them. The refund which were due are going to take forever to rectify. Sars are extremely strict for reasons understood when it comes to change of bank account details after a refund is due.

An example of how badly trained these non business consultants are is the way in which they request the original registration do***ents of the company. When you register a new company with Cipc they email you the registration do***ents. The only way I could assist my client whom I referred to FNB were to print 2 sets of the emailed registration do***ents and write in pencil on the one "copy" and the other "original" and have the copy commissioned. They accepted the "original" as the original. (I mean really???????).

When I asked statements on the closed accounts I were informed that I have to pay for them, and all I want to see is what happened to the money which were in the account at the time of closure. No transactions will show on the statements after closure so I can never check who paid after the account were closed. When the bank fees went off and there weren't enough money to cover the bank fees the account went into a minus which attracted an unauthorised overdraft penalty. But FNB cannot inform me that someone paid money into a closed account and who it is and proof that it is send back. Collecting bank fees on an account with no activity plus penalties because FNB send it into overdraft but unable to provide details on activity after closure means they don't care about businesses at all anymore. If you're not a huge corporation you will be stepped on like trash. There is no place for us small businessmen at FNB anymore. Truly a sad day after I referred dozens of clients to FNB.
