FNB - Fix your card software and give my money back
On 11 Dec I used my FNB credit card at POS. I accidentally inserted my expired card and not my new card (first use activation). When I entered my pin, it failed and I got an SMS stating - card locked, please call the number on the back of your card. Realizing the mistake, I inserted my new card which then also failed because it was also locked. My frustration and question are why my new card was blocked and not just the expired card which is not valid and won't work in any case. On the FNB app everything is normal and no locked status or unlock capability. Furthermore, why does FNB continue to charge me monthly fees for a card they blocked by them erroneously. I shouldn't phone them! I think they must correct their software, refund my fees and unlock my card. I wonder how many other people are being milked by FNB in this way? FNB a BIG pain!!
