FNB (First National Bank) - Very bad service

Hi

I would rather give no rating at this moment.

I requested in August 2021 for FNB for an overdraft facility. I received an email with a contract for the overdraft of R10 000. I signed the document and send it back accepting the overdraft facility.

On 14/10/2021 an amount of R5999 was paid into my bank account for a claim. On 19/10/2021 an amount of R6 250 was paid into by bank account for another claim.

FNB deducted the amounts that was paid into my bank account for the “overdraft facility”.

I send and email to the private client’s department on 21/10/2021. Today 05/11/2021 still “under investigation”.

As I do not have a good credit record (I know this as I am a single parent trying to make ends mead) - “ Apparently I do not have an overdraft facility”. I have all the emails and contract?

Due to the fact of the deductions from my bank account I am having financial difficulty. So I requested loan from FNB for R35 000.

Feedback I received from FNB -

As communicated there is unfortunately no offering at this point in time.

As a responsible credit lender we are required to conduct a fair and objective assessment of your ability to meet the payment obligations for the credit facility being app**** for FirstRand employs the use of a credit score, which combines credit bureau data and internal data.

Private banker will discuss on how you can improve on your existing scoring so you do qualify for credit in the future.

So I would really like to know the following:

1. Why did the document that I received showed Overdraft Facility? 2. Why did FNB just deduct the money from my account and is still trying to investigate this matter from 21/10/2021? 3. I had previous loans with FNB and the loans was paid back. 4. What does my bank do for me? They are not assisting in my financial difficulty. 5. Why do I have a private banker if I never get feedback. As from 21/10/2021 not even a phone call or reply to my requests. 6. Why do I have to stay with FNB? I have been with them since 2015. My income is more than R850 000

I don’t even know why I am complaining on this site as I know that I won’t get feedback from FNB Bank.

Thanks.
