FNB (First National Bank) Homeloans (How can we NOT help you)

Good day,

I have had the pleasure of dealing with the very *********** FNB applying for a readvance on my existing home loan. I own my own business and derive a salary from my business, and as per FNB's readvance application form if you derive an income from a business you have to provide several documents including audited financial statements, letter confirming salary, Sars letters etc. all of which was provided to FNB and accepted by FNB.

After almost 4 weeks i received email and sms confirmation that the readvance application has been successfully approved pending valuation of my property. The valuation were done 2 days later and 1 day later i received email confirmation that my application has been successful.

I was sent a loan agreement to sign which i duly did and sent to FNB, and the next day i receive an email from FNB instructing one of their homeloan consultants that the loan amount must not be paid out until my company have signed surety for the loan, really??? The house and value of it is the surety!

Upon querying this i was told by the consultant that surety is needed because i derive my income from my business (which IS not listed as a requirement in FNB's loan application)

So FNB wants double surety?? In the form of they will take my house and my company assets.. This all after my application has been successful??? Is this normal for a bank to approve an application, send an official loan agreement which the client signed and thereafter they seemingly unapprove the loan pending another surety?

Agreement ref: ***

And now all at FNB is apparently either gone or dead as no one gives me any answers.
