FNB Financial Mercenaries

Every month a debit order goes through for R608-00 to Multichoice. I take extra care to ensure that I have sufficient funds in my account to fulfil this obligation. Yesterday, an amount of R733-00 was debited. I was not informed by the service provider of an increased amount. This has a ripple effect on my account. I have not given FNB authority for this increased debit order. This resulted in FNB declining my other debit order, and this negatively impacted my account. To add insult to injury, FNB also charged me R115-00 for an unpaid debit order. This is beyond the pale. All FNB had to do was contact me and say that there was a shortfall of R80-00 and I would have immediately transferred that into the account. Instead they act like financial mercenaries. That is less than honourable. I request that FNB reverse the unpaid fees of R115-00. FNB, you can do better.;
