FNB | Financial *********!
On the 23rd of March I highlighted FNB to the fact that my salary had been significantly reduced. I sent them all the relevant documentation to support my request. Since the 23rd of March I have been sent from pillar to post with zero assistance. FNB then came back and said that I have been approved for a loan at R 17 000 in admin fees. I told them this was reckless lending as I could not afford to pay this back. Their reason for the loan, compounding interest? But paying debt with debt whilst they make money is not an issue? My D|O do not even amount to their admin fee they are charging me. How is that in my best interest? I have emailed and called almost daily to try to get resolve in a desperate attempt not to be in the position I am now. Now we have a situation whereby my D/O are not being honored, as I told them would be the case. I transferred my salary into my savings and/or credit card so that I could control what would and would not be paid. My medical aid being a priority ! Now because my current account is in O/D they have blocked me from paying from my credit card making it impossible to pay my essentials! Until such time as I bring my current account back in line I have no means of paying what and whom I need to pay despite my credit card being in credit. The only way out? To take their loan. Surely this cannot be deemed in line with TCF, fair banking practices and acceptable????
