FNB Fidutiary
My dad passed away on 10 June 2020. He was a man that was left with only a room with his few belongings as he was a diagnosed alzheimer patient. He had no debt as my sister and I did everything for him in terms of his care as well as looking after his finances. We dealt with Maggie Snyman at Menlyn branch in Pretoria East. Maggie left FNB in the first half of 2022 without her notifying any of her clients that she is going to leave. In October my sister and I received a sms notifying us that SARS paid the credit into my dad's ABSA account which was not closed since he passed away. I followed up in October just to be told that the lady assisting is also going to leave (I was told so by the way). Two other ladies, Antoneite Legodi and Tshamano du Preez took over my dad's file but we are only hearing; SILENCE!! I tried all the numbers with no success. If you phone the 087 number they tell you that you need to speak to Menlyn branch (Natasha Roodt), who will be able to give you feedback. Telephone number on the website: this number is incorrect! NO ANSWER = NO SERVICE!! My question is: does it really take that long to close an ABSA account and get at least one case closed off and from you desk????? The clock is still ticking and I myself have a will at FNB which I am going to cancel. I would rather take my estate elsewhere than to leave my family with poor service delivery. I got an answer from this department but it was once again ONLY PROMISES! It is again the 18th of April 2023 and no communication on progress was received up to now.
