Fnb fiduciary didn't put a freeze on my late father account

I am disappointed in Fnb Fiduciary Pretoria. As my late father put all his trust in Fnb, his words to me was if he pass away the first thing I should do is go to Fnb bank they will know exactly what to do.

My father passed away 26 July 2019 and I did as he said. I reported his death to them as he also stated in his Testament, Fnb is appointed to be his exucutor, I even send his original death certificate and original ID documents to their offices. And according to my understanding they should freeze and put a strong hold on his overdraft account for no bank cost or anything to be debited from his account until his estate is resolved.

The person who helped me said they can't put a hold on the overdraft and the bank cost must go off. But now my question is how if my father isnt here on earth to pay for the cost of this and he did take out life cover for his overdraft to be paid the day he passes away.

We are just waiting for his estate to be finalized. I have many complaints about the process and the way its was being dealt with but that's for a different review. But until then how must I afford to pay this monthly overdraft rate?

I asked different sources and it is clear to me the bank was suppose to put a hold on the account.

Fnb caused me major stress and anxiety with the bank costs going off since my father's passing last year, I can't function properly as this has taken over my whole life to try and resolve this issue and selling things which means a lot to me just to try and cover the costs for me and my kids not to loose the property I lived on all my life.

When my father's estate is finalized Im definitely taking my things to a different bank I don't ever want my kids to have stress like this when I pass away.
