FNB Fiduciary Department / Deceased Reporting Department

This has to be the worst treatment by FNB; the so-called "how can we help you" tag line is just utter nonsense. My siblings and I have been calling FNB Fiduciary and the deceased reporting department to round up our Father's Estate as FNB was nominated as executor, obviously to no avail.

We sent an email through a lawyer at the High Court not even an acknowledgement of receipt of that email, to let us know that you are working on our Fathers estate. When will we get a response from First National Bank?????

We have not even had any communication about whether you have received and have read his last will and testament so that all that remain behind can have closure with regard to his last wishes before his death. We believe that there is a fully signed copy lodged with the bank.

The last point is currently causing fractions at home, meanwhile the executorship of his estate is up in the air and the people he nominated remain silent.

Is there more that we need to do over and above the email that was sent from the MASTER OF THE HIGH COURT to get this process moving?

Bills are due under the estate and require payment, the assets under the estate require management, thus money, which is trapped in the estate. Do something!!!!!

Sad part is many of your clients go through this yet to this day no improvements have be made, the phone rings and rings and rings no answer and this is so heartbreaking, especially during such a difficult time of losing a loved one, one would think such Institutes would go out of this way to help loyal Clients and make this process easy for them. This is truly sad indeed.
