FNB FICA appears to be a ****
The bank continues to want to block my online access, saying something about FICA. I have queried, the only response being that they will only respond directly to me. I have not received that response. I did get an email from *** which only says I must complete a FICA form. How do I know this is not a ****? The email includes a tel number for queries 087 730 599 but that number does not exist - 'dial carefully'. FNB - CONTACT ME!

20 Jan 2026, 09:59This gets worse and worse. The tel number in the FICA email is WRONG, WRONG,WRONG. I phoned some other who said they would put me through to KYC. I said no I want FICA. It took her (Faith) a while to understand that few people know what KYC is. She would put me through but offered to give the direct number. It is the number that is in the email, but the 2nd last digit is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG 087 730 599 she said should be 087 730 579 - but that is only 9 digits!!!!!
Will FNB actually respond to this???? Any one else out there receiving the same poor levels of service?

This gets worse and worse. The tel number in the FICA email is WRONG, WRONG,WRONG. I phoned some other who said they would put me through to KYC. I said no I want FICA. It took her (Faith) a while to understand that few people know what KYC is. She would put me through but offered to give the direct number. Earlier this month had to contact the bank re cancelling a home loan bond. Was not sure how to do that. Got the chatbot which spoke the biggest load of nonsense. When I asked the property agent how to do this and said I had tried unsuccessfully with the chatbot, she just laughed and said that is useless - the only way is to make a phone call to home loans. I did and that worked.
