FNB falsely addvertise theselves

i've recently tried to switch banks to FNB but this is in no way easy or simple as their multiple adverts claim.

on 14th of july 2017 i tried to open an account and had to deal with an employee in hyde park by the name of Mike Mkhwa**** who was not helpful in anyway. it took him 10 minutes to enter in his username and password, saying he had a broken keyboard. after over an hour he called a manager and i was told i cant use a copy of an original for proof of residence, which would be fine if i was told before the hour long wait.

during the rest of the time i was there i arranged for an acceptable proof of residence to be sent. however even after i left FNB's harrasment didnt stop, i was phoned multiple times that afternoon and the following morning by Mr Mkhwa**** who had claimed he hadnt received a proof of residence. i was told would then be closed. only after i threated to send proof to his suprvisor that all the necessary had been sent did Mr Mkhwa**** "suddenly" receive the mail.

my experience was so bad that i opted to change my debit orders myself as this would be easier then having FNB do it for me. "how can we help you"? train your staff
