FNB FAILURE to Refund ***** claim - Who is the ******** here?

Did Not expect this behavior from you after banking religiously with you for over 20 years.

I'm a South African and was travelling in Mozambique from the 27 Dec 2017 - 01 Feb 2018, where I also used my debit card when in the country. No debits went off whilst in Moz during my stay there. I didn't find this remarkably unusual as when I've traveled to Europe and South America the same happens. My debits go off a bit later on, sometimes a week later in some instances. I'm back in SA, I get a notification that a payment went off. I quickly go onto my online banking, to see the dates of the purchases, and these appeared as though they were still back dated during the time of my stay in Mozambique, to a non-south african purchase. No flags raised.

It was only when I got the sms message from FNB on the 6th of February where FNB now was flagging that something sinister may be happening to my card. That's when I then realized that something irregular indeed was happening. I immediately cancel my card after receiving this fnb warning. FNB Reason: " FNB is partially refunding the claim as you did not act on the in contact that was sent" I was already on another business trip out the country when I cancelled this and could only complete your ***** paperwork on my return. But the card go cancelled on the 06 Feb immediately when I received your SM notification.

On the 08th or 10th, I get a response back that indeed my card and pin was cloned and used in Indonesia. I've never been there.

You then give me the amount that was **********ly ****** from my account, but you only going to partially refund me. That is R19K that has gone off my account, and I responded immediately on it as soon as FNB flagged it. I've already been ******, and now FNB is robbing me too!?! Who is the ******** here honestly?

Go look at the date when your ***** dep send through their sms - then look at the date I cancelled my card.

Hi. I actually am looking for full refund of these funds. There has been far too much back and forth on this matter, and I'm not looking for extra feedback. Will my claim be processed and will I receive a refund?
