FNB failure in customer service
I was provided with a credit card by FNB, On Thursday 12 July takealot delivered my card I had to provide the necessary documentation and signed for my card. I was not given any further information so I registered for online banking and saw that the card needs to be activated. I then called the customer service line on Friday and they advised me that I need to send my documentation through to the KYC department. I done this and called on the Monday. One of the Agents asked that I send them the email as well with the documentation so that they can escalate the matter. I done this as well and was told that it will be sorted within 24 hours. I then spent my entire day on the phone with FNB and no success after being transferred from one department to the next. I finally got through to a TL called Kamini and she was going to get back to me immediately. Yet again nothing has happened.... I have no idea who has my documents, when the card will be activated and when somebody will be calling me. By far the worse customer service experience I have received to date. I would never recommend FNB to anybody, infact I feel like cancelling this card and going else where. To think that I voted for them in the E-Comers awards this year for customer service but I wish I could take that back.
