FNB fails to resolve credit card for OVER A YEAR
In late 2014, I went to my Cmont FNB branch to cancel my gold CC, and adopt a revolving credit, whilst also upgrading my cheque to Platinum. Several hours in the bank, and various forms, speaking directly to the CC dept, nevertheless my gold card was simply not cancelled. Months of follow up phone calls ensued with both the branch and CC line.
Desperate, in early March I decide to simply go in branch and upgrade my gold CC also to a platinum, whilst refusing the offer for premier. I literally spent 4 hours.
Not only - SINCE THAT DATE - was my gold CC NOT cancelled, my platinum was never upgraded. Several phone calls again were made.
Realising your CC division could not handle these issues, and that trips spent in to the bank resulted in nothing, I lodged an online complaint (777143) on 08 October 2015. I was asked to RESUBMIT my docs, done 9 Oct. Nothing. 3 Nov I follow up on my formal complaint and am told it was delivered but I didn't answer my phone, so I give a specific instruction to leave a message if no answer. Nothing. I emailed the complaint dept on both 18 Nov and 11 Dec, both complaints were TOTALLY ignored.
If FNB doesn't want my money 20yrs later, just let me know.
